No elenco a cearense Florinda Bulcão (ou Bolkan), provavelmente em seu melhor papel no cinema, como a amante Augusta Terzi. Aeromoça da VARIG, Florinda – filha de um diplomata brasileiro – iniciou a trabalhar como modelo em Roma e circulando na Cinecittá, terminou sendo atriz em clássicos memoráveis, como OS DEUSES MALDITOS, de Luchino Visconti.
