Acho que qualquer série que tivesse perdido no elenco Delroy Lindo, Cush Jumbo, Rosie Leslie e Paul Guilfoyle teria ficado muito fraca. Pois THE GOOD FIGHT, em sua quinta e última temporada, segue resistindo como uma das melhores da safra atual.
A criatividade dos produtores é imensa. Nesta última temporada, todos os episódios têm títulos iniciando pelas palavras “O Fim de…”
Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski, brilhante) segue sua luta como advogada liberal em defesa dos ideais de liberdade que acredita.
O escritório mudou muito, mais ainda tem a sócia majoritária Liz Reddick (Audra McDonald), a piradinha Marissa Gold (Sarah Steele), o investigador Jay Dipersia (Nyambi Nyambi) e a volta do cliente Eli Gold (Alan Cumming).
O ponto alto da série são os roteiros dos episódios. Sempre criativos (usando e abusando de recursos visuais como cartoons), provocativos e quase anarquistas.
THE GOOD FIGHT vai deixar saudades.
I think any series that had lost Delroy Lindo, Cush Jumbo, Rosie Leslie and Paul Guilfoyle in the cast would have been pretty underpowered. Because THE GOOD FIGHT, in its fifth and final season, continues to resist as one of the best of the current crop.
The creativity of the producers is immense. In this final season, all episodes have titles starting with the words “The End of…”
Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski, brilliant) follows her struggle as a liberal lawyer in defense of the ideals of freedom she believes in.
The firm has changed a lot, but it still has majority partner Liz Reddick (Audra McDonald), wacky Marissa Gold (Sarah Steele), investigator Jay Dipersia (Nyambi Nyambi) and returning client Eli Gold (Alan Cumming).
The highlight of the series is the episode scripts. Always creative (using and abusing visual resources such as cartoons), provocative and almost anarchist.
THE GOOD FIGHT will be missed.
