Vi ontem no HULU, o primeiro capítulo de HOT ZONE: ANTHRAX, a série da Nat Geo sobre a onda de pânico que varreu os Estados Unidos logo em seguida ao 11 de setembro, quando muitos americanos recebiam cartas com um pó branco que depois se revelou era uma bactéria chamada Anthrax.
Extremamente bem produzida, cria um clima de tensão logo de cara, mostrando um acidente biológico ocorrido na Rússia, onde houve um vazamento da bactéria, matando centenas de pessoas.
O astro Daniel Dae Kin (HAWAII 5.0), Tony Goldwyn (quase irreconhecível) e Harry Hamlin vivem os personagens principais. O FBI tem grande dificuldade em chegar à verdade sobre quem estava enviando a bactéria para políticos e expoentes da mídia.
Achei este primeiro capítulo muito falado e com pouca ação. A primeira temporada (que enfocava o vírus Ebola) me pareceu muito mais dinâmica.
Vamos ver se este HOT ZONE Season Dois pega no tranco nos próximos episódios.
I saw yesterday on HULU, the first chapter of HOT ZONE: ANTHRAX, the Nat Geo series about the wave of panic that swept the United States right after 9/11, when many Americans received letters with a white powder that later it turned out to be a bacterium called Anthrax.
Extremely well produced, it creates a tense atmosphere right away, showing a biological accident that occurred in Russia, where the bacteria leaked, killing hundreds of people.
Star Daniel Dae Kin (HAWAII 5.0), Tony Goldwyn (almost unrecognizable) and Harry Hamlin play the main characters. The FBI has great difficulty getting to the truth about who was sending the bacteria to politicians and media exponents.
I found this first chapter very talked about and with little action. Season 1 (which focused on the Ebola virus) felt much more dynamic to me.
Let’s see if this HOT ZONE Season Two ignites on in the next few episodes.
