Particularmente, meus favoritos são O PODEROSO CHEFÃO (óbvio), ROLLERBALL, O JOGADOR e UMA PONTE LONGE DEMAIS.
Jonathan E, o craque de ROLLERBALL no maravilhoso filme distópico de Norman Jewison foi um dos heróis de minha adolescência.
Mas foi Sonny Corleone, o primogênito de Vito Corleone que marcou, na minha memória afetiva, a imagem de James Caan. Violento, agressivo, conquistador, defendia a família acima de qualquer coisa.
Morreu na inesquecível cena do posto de pedágio.
James Caan sempre será Sonny Corleone.
