O Festival de Cannes 2023 se encerrou nesse sábado, com a cerimônia de premiação.
O Grande Vencedor da Palma de Ouro foi o filme francês ANATOMIE D’UNE CHUTE (ANATOMIA DE UMA QUEDA), dirigido pela cineasta francesa Justine Triet.
Triet é apenas a terceira mulher diretora a ganhar a Palma de Ouro, depois de Jane Campios (O PIANO) e Julia Ducornau (TITANE). Esse ano havia sete filmes de mulheres na competição oficial.
A entrega, transmitida ao vivo pelo YouTube, contou com Quentin Tarantino, Jane Fonda, Roger Corman (um diretor icônico de filmes B consagrado por um demorado aplauso) e elogios para o Júri presidido pelo cineasta Ruben Ostlund, diretor de O TRIÂNGULO DA TRISTEZA.

The big winner of the Palme d’Or was the French film ANATOMIE D’UNE CHUTE (ANATOMY OF A FALL), directed by French filmmaker Justine Triet.
Triet is only the third female director to win the Palme d’Or, after Jane Campion (THE PIANO) and Julia Ducornau (TITANE). This year there were seven women’s films in official competition.
The ceremony, streamed live on YouTube, featured Quentin Tarantino, Jane Fonda, Roger Corman (an iconic B-movie director honored by a lengthy applause) and praise for the Jury chaired by filmmaker Ruben Ostlund, director of THE TRIANGLE OF SADNESS.
