O Canal MHZ traz uma série francesa muito interessante intitulada PRIÈRE D’ENQUÊTER (UNDER LAW AND GRACE).
Nos seis capítulos de uma hora disponíveis, vemos a Capitã Elli Taleb (a bela atriz francesa Sabrina Quazani) é colocada para trabalhar tendo como consultor o noviço Clement (Mathieu Spinozi), um estudioso de religiões e idiomas que está em dúvida sobre efetivamente se tornar padre ou não.
Com eles, está o Tenente Frank Gallois (Jérome Robert), um policial mais old school, que atravessa um divórcio complicado e está fascinado pela facilidade de obter companhias femininas em aplicativos de encontros.
Para dar mais molho à trama, a Capitã Taleb cria suas três irmãs, sendo que a mais velha questiona e desobedece todas as suas orientações.
Os casos que eles trabalham, por óbvio, sempre têm uma conexão com temas religiosos, o que valoriza as tiradas de Clement, cada vez mais valioso para as investigações.
Vi por enquanto dois episódios.
Gostei muito. Acho que a produção acertou o alvo na mescla de filme policial e drama de costumes, onde as diferenças entre a visão dos policiais e do padre são tão marcantes quanto ilustrativas. Ficou um desenvolvimento de narrativa delicioso.
Com certeza vou seguir acompanhando as aventuras da Capitã Taleb e do noviço Clement atrás do bandidos.
Channel MHZ brings a very interesting French series entitled PRIÈRE D’ENQUÊTER (UNDER LAW AND GRACE).
In the six one-hour chapters available, we see Captain Elli Taleb (the beautiful French actress Sabrina Quazani) put to work with the novice Clement (Mathieu Spinozi) as a consultant, a scholar of religions and languages who is in doubt about effectively becoming priest or not.
With them is Lieutenant Frank Gallois (Jérome Robert), an older-school police officer, who is going through a complicated divorce and is fascinated by the ease of finding female companions on dating apps.
To add more flavor to the plot, Captain Taleb raises her three sisters, the eldest questioning and disobeying all her instructions.
The cases they work on, obviously, always have a connection with religious themes, which makes Clement’s quotes more and more valuable for investigations.
I’ve seen two episodes so far.
I really liked. I think the production hit the target in the mixture of police film and costume drama, where the differences between the policemen’s and the priest’s vision are as striking as they are illustrative. It turned out to be a delightful narrative development.
I will definitely follow the adventures of Captain Taleb and novice Clement behind the bandits.
