Por muitos anos, fui leitor da Coluna do Ibrahim, um item obrigatório para quem lia o jornal O GLOBO, no auge de seu sucesso.
Ibrahim Sued mudou o colunismo social. Sua forma de fazer jornalismo envolvendo celebridades e notícias em primeira mão marcaram época e estão para sempre na história do jornalismo brasileiro.
O filme é muito bem feito. Alterna imagens e falas de Ibrahim Sued com depoimentos de pessoas que o conheceram de perto, como o também magnífico jornalista Ricardo Boechat, Ricardo Amaral, Zózimo Barroso do Amaral, Sérgio Cabral e tantos outros.
ADEMÃ é um filme essencial para quem gosta de entender os rumos do jornalismo no Brasil. Devia ser um filme obrigatório para todo jovem jornalista.
On the recommendation of my friend Gabriel Magadan, I went to GLOBOPLAY to see ADEMÃ: THE LIFE AND NOTES OF IBRAHIM SUED, the excellent documentary directed by the journalist’s daughter, the competent Isabel Sued Perrin, and by Paulo Henrique Fontenelle.
For many years, I was a reader of Ibrahim’s Column, a mandatory item for anyone who read the newspaper O GLOBO, at the height of its success.
Ibrahim Sued changed the gossip column. His way of doing journalism involving celebrities and first-hand news made an epoch and will forever remain in the history of Brazilian journalism.
The film is very well done. It alternates images and speeches by Ibrahim Sued with testimonials from people who knew him closely, such as the also magnificent journalist Ricardo Boechat, Ricardo Amaral, Zózimo Barroso do Amaral, Sérgio Cabral and many others.
ADEMÃ is an essential film for anyone who likes to understand the direction of journalism in Brazil. It should be a must see movie for every young journalist.
