Vi dois dos dez capítulos da aguardada produção original da Apple TV+, THE CROWDED ROOM.
A trama sobre um jovem que é preso por ter participado de um tiroteio no Rockfeller Center, em Nova Iorque e que vai, aos poucos contando sua história a uma policial é daquelas histórias com tantas idas e vindas que, embora seja muito atraente, deixa o espectador intrigado sobre os rumos do roteiro.
Danny Sullivan (Tom Holland, o novo homem aranha da MARVEL) está, no tempo presente, sendo interrogado pela policial Rya Goodwin (Amanda Seyfried).
Ela vai contando em detalhes a estada dele em uma casa liderada pelo misterioso Ytzhak (o astro israelense de FAUDA, Lior Raz). Foi lá que Danny se envolveu com a errática Ariana (Sasha Lane), uma menina liberada e perigosa, igualmente acusada de ter participado do crime. Ele também conhece nesse tempo, a linda Annabelle (Emma Laird), que igualmente frequenta a casa.
Mas Danny também conta sua infância, onde morava com a mãe (Emmy Rossum) e um padrasto abusivo (Will Chase).
A interligação entre os três tempos tantos personagens importantes (todos muito bem interpretados) deixa a história tão fascinante quanto difícil de ser seguida.
Dei uma parada. Vou voltar. THE CROWDED ROOM me parece valer a pena.
I saw two of the ten chapters of the highly anticipated Apple TV+ original production, THE CROWDED ROOM.
The plot about a young man who is arrested for having participated in a shooting at the Rockefeller Center, in New York and who, little by little, tells his story to a policewoman is one of those stories with so many comings and goings that, although it is very attractive, it leaves the spectator intrigued by the direction of the script.
Danny Sullivan (Tom Holland, MARVEL’s new Spider-Man) is, in the present time, being interrogated by police officer Rya Goodwin (Amanda Seyfried).
He recounts in detail his stay in a house led by the mysterious Ytzhak (Israeli FAUDA star Lior Raz). It was there that Danny became involved with the erratic Ariana (Sasha Lane), a liberated and dangerous girl, also accused of having participated in the crime. He also meets in that time, the beautiful Annabelle (Emma Laird), who also frequents the house.
But Danny also tells of his childhood, where he lived with his mother (Emmy Rossum) and an abusive stepfather (Will Chase).
The interconnection between the three times and so many important characters (all very well played) makes the story as fascinating as it is difficult to follow.
I stopped for a while. I will come back. THE CROWDED ROOM seems to me to be worth it.
