The great Jake Gylenhaal lives Sergeant John Kinley, one of the thousands of American soldiers sent to Afghanistan after 9/11. The film opens with a revelation that the nearly 80,000 Afghans who aided US troops have been promised visas for themselves and their families to live in the US.
