O thriller RETRIBUTION – que estréia em 23 de agosto – é uma refilmagem do sucesso espanhol EL DESCONOCIDO.
Um executivo de um banco de duvidosa ética, ao levar os filhos para a escola certa manhã, recebe um telefonema de um homem não identificado, que lhe diz que o carro está conectado a explosivos e que a tentativa de sair dele detonará a bomba.
A partir daí, o misterioso interlocutor começa a dar missões para o homem cumprir para salvar sua vida e a dos filhos.
Liam Neeson (que segue nos filmes de ação) vive o protagonista. No elenco estão Matthew Modine, Embeth Davidtz. Noma Dumezweni é a policial encarregada do caso.

A bank executive with ethical problems, driving his children to school one morning, receives a call from an unidentified man who tells him that the car is connected to explosives and that trying to get out of it will detonate the bomb.
From then on, the mysterious interlocutor begins to give missions for the man to fulfill in order to save his life and that of his children.
Liam Neeson (who continues in action films) lives the protagonist. In the cast are Matthew Modine, Embeth Davidtz. Noma Dumezweni is the police officer in charge of the case.
