Fui no GNC Iguatemi ver INDIANA JONES E A RELÍQUIA DO DESTINO, quinta aventura do mítico herói Indiana Jones, desta vez dirigido por James Mangold.
Achei um final muito digno para um dos maiores heróis da história do cinema. O filme é muito bem feito, divertido, movimentado e presta inúmeras homenagens às quatro aventuras anteriores de Indiana Jones.
Ainda lembro que, no distante ano de 1981, quando CAÇADORES DA ARCA PERDIDA foi lançado, assisti o filme três vezes na primeira semana, tamanha foi minha fascinação pelo herói criado por Steven Spielberg e interpretado com rara competência por Harrison Ford. Vale lembrar que o roteiro de RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK – um dos melhores de todos os tempos – é de autoria de Lawrence Kasdan, George Lucas e Philip Kaufman, três cineastas maravilhosos.
INDIANA JONES E A RELÍQUIA DO DESTINO não tem, por óbvio o mesmo brilho. Todos estamos bem mais velhos. Afinal se passaram 33 anos. Harrison Ford, embora ainda esteh=ja muito bem, já tem 81 anos.
Essa quinta história coloca Indiana Jones – e sua afilhada Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge, uma inglesa talentosa demais) – atrás de uma invenção de Arquimedes que permitira ir e voltar no tempo localizando fissuras temporais.
O vilão, para variar é um nazista, o Dr. Voller (Mads Mikkelsen), um ambicioso sujeito que quer reescrever o final da Segunda Guerra Mundial.
Do lado dos mocinhos, há Toby Jones, John Rhys-Davies, Antonio Banderas e Karen Allen. Como Ford, todos muito velhos e cansados.
As cenas de ação do filme guardam a mesma graça e dinâmica (mesclada com humor) que caracterizou a franquia. A gente vibra na poltrona do cinema, mas sempre com uma alegria em ver como Indiana Jones sempre se sai bem.
Era mesmo a hora de nosso herói se aposentar.
A Lucasfilm e a Disney criaram uma bela história para ser sua última aventura.
Saí do cinema muito feliz com o filme e com um sentimento de que todos nós estamos muito mais velhos, buscando as formas de sermos felizes com a atualidade e com o passado.
I went to GNC Iguatemi to see INDIANA JONESAND THE DIAL OF DESTINY, the fifth adventure of the mythical hero Indiana Jones, this time directed by James Mangold.
I thought it was a very respectul ending for one of the greatest heroes in the history of cinema. The film is very well done, fun, moving and pays numerous homages to the four previous adventures of Indiana Jones.
I still remember that, in the distant year of 1981, when Raiders of the Lost Ark was released, I watched the film three times in the first week, such was my fascination with the hero created by Steven Spielberg and interpreted with rare competence by Harrison Ford. It is worth remembering that the screenplay for RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK – one of the best of all time – is authored by Lawrence Kasdan, George Lucas and Philip Kaufman, three wonderful filmmakers.
INDIANA JONES AND THE DIAL OF DESTINY obviously does not have the same shine. We are all much older. After all, 33 years have passed. Harrison Ford, while still doing very well, is now 81 years old.
This fifth story puts Indiana Jones – and his goddaughter Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge, an extremely talented Englishwoman) – behind an invention by Archimedes that would allow him to go back and forth in time by locating temporal cracks.
The villain, for a change, is a Nazi, Dr. Voller (Mads Mikkelsen), an ambitious guy who wants to rewrite the end of World War II.
On the good guys side, there’s Toby Jones, John Rhys-Davies, Antonio Banderas and Karen Allen. Like Ford, all much older and tired.
The film’s action scenes keep the same grace and dynamics (mixed with humor) that characterized the franchise. We vibrate in the cinema chair, but always with joy in seeing how well Indiana Jones always does.
It was really time for our hero to retire.
Lucasfilm and Disney have crafted a beautiful story to be his final adventure.
I left the cinema very happy with the film and with a feeling that we are all much older, looking for ways to be happy with the present and with the past.
