Fui ver MISSÃO IMPOSSÍVEL, ACERTO DE CONTAS PARTE UM na Sala IMAX do Cinemark Bourbon Wallig. Para além de qualquer consideração, o novo filme do cineasta americano Christopher McQuarrie (vencedor do Oscar pelo roteiro de THE USUAL SUSPECTS) é um filme de aventura de ritmo tão frenético que deixa o espectador empolgado e sem fôlego.
O roteiro até tenta inserir alguns temas mas relevantes e profundos como os riscos da inteligência artificial (a grande vilã é A ENTIDADE) ou o descontrole das agências de inteligência múltiplas comandadas por ambiciosos e vaidosos chefetes sem visão global, mas isso também fica em segundo plano.
Quando a música imortal de Lalo Schifrin entra emoldurando cenas de ação inacreditáveis, é impossível não voltar à infância quando Ethan Hunt era Peter Graves (e seu cabelo branco) e a mensagem que vai se destruir em cinco segundos em um gravador portátil fazia mais sentido.
Tom Cruise é muito inteligente e habilidoso em produzir e estrelar esse tipo de aventura sem limites. esse ano já havia emplacado o interessante TOP GUN MAVERICK. Agora traz um dos melhores filmes da franquia cujos direitos adquiriu.
O elenco é ótimo. Das mulheres incríveis (a inglesa Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby e uma surpreendente Pom Klementieff, como uma assassina que por vezes lembra o Exterminador de Schwarzenegger), aos parceiros usuais de Ethan (Ving Rhames e Simon Pegg) e até os vilões ( Cary Elwes, Esai Morales e Henry Czerny).
Por que acho esse um dos melhores títulos da franquia? Porque a trama claramente foi deixada em segundo plano em favor da aventura sem limites de Ethan Hunt e sua turma. Tudo levado com um humor muito bem inserido.
A longa duração do filme (que é somente a primeira parte da história) de duas horas e quarenta a três minutos jamais deixa a impressão que poderia ser menor. Aliás, outra vez, méritos para a montagem frenética que não dá um minuto de tédio.
Essa semana saiu a notícia que Tom Cruise (que está com 61 anos) quer seguir com Ethan Hunt até os oitenta anos, à moda de Harrison Ford e seu Indiana Jones.
Pelo visto iremos a MISSÃO IMPOSSÍVEL 20.
I went to see MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, DEAD RECKONING PART ONE at the IMAX Theater at Cinemark Bourbon Wallig. Beyond any consideration, the new film by American filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie (Oscar winner for the screenplay of THE USUAL SUSPECTS) is an adventure film with such a frantic pace that it leaves the viewer excited and breathless.
The script even tries to insert some more relevant and profound themes, such as the risks of artificial intelligence (the big villain is THE ENTITY) or the lack of control of multiple intelligence agencies commanded by ambitious and vain bosses without a global vision, but this too is in the background .
When Lalo Schifrin‘s immortal music comes in framing unbelievable action scenes, it’s impossible not to go back to childhood when Ethan Hunt was Peter Graves (and his white hair) and the message that will be destroyed in five seconds on a portable recorder made more sense.
Tom Cruise is very smart and skilled at producing and starring in this kind of boundless adventure. this year had already scored the interesting TOP GUN MAVERICK. Now it brings one of the best films of the franchise whose rights it acquired.
The cast is great. From incredible women (the English Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby and a surprising Pom Klementieff, as a murderer who sometimes reminds me of Schwarzenegger’s Terminator), to Ethan’s usual partners (Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg) and even the villains ( Cary Elwes, Esai Morales and Henry Czerny).
Why do I think this is one of the best titles in the franchise? Because the plot was clearly left in the background in favor of the boundless adventure of Ethan Hunt and the gang. All taken with a very well inserted humor.
The length of the film (which is only the first part of the story) of two hours and forty three minutes never leaves the impression that it could be shorter. By the way, once again, credit for the frantic edition that doesn’t let you get bored for a minute.
