Sigo encantado com a série francesa DROPS OF GOD, exibida pela Apple TV+.
A história da jovem francesa que perde o pai e é obrigada a entrar em uma espécie de concurso para ter direito a sua herança (uma adega milionária) é simplesmente deliciosa.
O enredo foi pensado e desenvolvido para ir pegando o espectador com uma riqueza de detalhes impressionante.
Claro que o charmoso mundo dos vinhos e o elenco ótimo (Fleur Geffrier e Tomohisa Yamashita estão excelentes como os duelistas) ajudam a dar uma dose extra de charme à série.
Mas acho que o elemento essencial é mostrar valores e princípios como lealdade e amizade estão acima de qualquer dinheiro. Embora isso seja uma verdade perene, infelizmente está fora de moda nos dias atuais.
DROPS OF GOD nos lembra o que é essencial.

The story of the young French woman who loses her father and is forced to enter a kind of contest to be entitled to her inheritance (a millionaire cellar) is simply delicious.
The plot was designed and developed to catch the viewer with an impressive wealth of details.
Of course, the charming world of wines and the great cast (Fleur Geffrier and Tomohisa Yamashita are excellent as the duelists) help to give the series an extra dose of charm.
But I think the essential element is to show values and principles such as loyalty and friendship that are above any money. While this is a perennial truth, it is unfortunately out of fashion these days.
DROPS OF GOD reminds us what is essential.
