O App MHZ está exibindo a série espanhola original da MOVISTAR, intitulada FÉLIX, uma criação do ótimo cineasta catalão Cesc Gay (TRUMAN e THE PEOPLE UPSTAIRS).
O excelente ator argentino Leonardo Sabaraglia vive Félix um professor de literatura que mora em Andorra e se apaixona por uma garota chinesa que encontra em um bar local. Ela é Julia (Mi Hoa Lee), uma misteriosa mulher que desaparece logo após uma cliente noite de amor.
Félix, enlouquecido, passa a cobrar das autoridades locais (inclusive seu amigo Mario (Gines Garcia Milán) uma investigação mais profunda sobre o paradeiro da moça. O que parecia ser um simples caso de desaparecimento, vira uma intriga internacional, em que entram lavagem de dinheiro, máfia chinesa, corrupção policial em altas esferas, rede de prostituição e outros complicadores.
Vai ser um verdadeiro calvário para o inconformado Félix. Ele vai contar com a ajuda do amigo maluquete Oscar (Pere Arquillué, excelente), o encarregado de aliviar a tensão das cenas. É dele a antológica frase para explicar a paixão arrebatadora do amigo: “ela é prostituta, tatuada e oriental, está explicado”.
O roteiro vai fundo em deixar a busca por respostas do protagonista cheia de meandros e complicações. Nada é o que parece. A turma vai a Madri, Barcelona e até Touluse, na França. As paisagens são belíssimas.
Outro elemento forte da trama é a onipresença de corrupção nos comandos da Polícia e do Governo. Não são exclusividade do terceiro mundo.
Gostei bastante de FÉLIX. Acho que os talentos reunidos de Sbaraglia e Gay asseguram um espetáculo policial criativo e muito bem pensado e executado.
Recomendo FÉLIX com louvor.

The excellent Argentine actor Leonardo Sabaraglia plays Félix, a professor of literature who lives in Andorra and falls in love with a Chinese girl he meets in a local bar. She is Julia (Mi Hoa Lee), a mysterious woman who disappears shortly after a client’s night of love.
Félix, crazed, starts demanding from the local authorities (including his friend Mario (Gines Garcia Milán) a deeper investigation into the whereabouts of the girl. What seemed to be a simple case of disappearance, turns into an international intrigue, in which money laundering, Chinese mafia, police corruption in high spheres, prostitution ring and other complications.
It’s going to be a real ordeal for the nonconformist Félix. He will have the help of his crazy friend Oscar (Pere Arquillué, excellent), who is in charge of relieving the tension of the scenes. His is the anthological phrase to explain his friend’s overwhelming passion: “she’s a prostitute, tattooed and oriental, that’s explained”.
The script goes deep in leaving the protagonist’s search for answers full of intricacies and complications. Nothing is what it seems like. The group goes to Madrid, Barcelona and even Toulouse, in France. The landscapes are highly beautiful.
Another strong element of the plot is the omnipresence of corruption in the commands of the Police and the Government. They are not exclusive to the third world.
I really liked FELIX. I think the combined talents of Sbaraglia and Gay ensure a creative and very well thought out and executed police show.
I recommend FÉLIX with distinction.
