O cineasta egípcio Atom Egoyan é um nome de fama mundial. Já foi indicado a dois Oscars e tem 62 prêmios internacionais, entre os quais Veneza, Toronto e Cannes.
Seu próximo trabalho será SEVEN VEILS, um drama mostrando o trabalho de uma jovem diretora, Jeanine (Amanda Seyfried com quem Egoyan fez o ótimo CHLOE) a recriar a obra prima de seu mentor.
A ópera é SALOMÉ. Outra vez vamos estar às voltas com os famosos e icônicos sete véus de Salomé.
Douglas Smith e Mark O’Brien estão no elenco.
O filme foi escolhido para abrir o prestigiado Festival de Toronto.

The opera is SALOME. Once again we will be dealing with the famous and iconic seven veils of Salomé.
