O app MHZ está mostrando a série chilena BERKO: LA ARTE DE CALLAR, de 2019.
São quatro capítulos sobre o envolvimento de um jornalista investigativo, Boris Berkovitz (ótimo trabalho de Benjamin Vicuña) que se alia a uma prostituta, Divina Day (Daniela Ramirez) para investigar o suposto suicídio de um boêmio chileno.
No meio das buscas, eles vão se deparar com contrabando de armas, ainda resquícios da Ditadura Pinochet, no Chile.
Também está no elenco a atriz colombiana Angie Cepeda, que brilhou anos atrás em PANTALEÓN Y LAS VISITADORAS, que fez muito sucesso num Festival de Gramado e Lara Eyzaguirre (a atriz Goya Toledo).
Vi dois dos quatro capítulos. A narrativa me pareceu muito bem feita, criando um suspense consistente.
Filmes chilenos tem certa dificuldade de chegar aqui.
Por isso, BERKO já mereceria ser saudado. Mas seus méritos garantem um valor ainda maior.

There are four chapters about the involvement of an investigative journalist, Boris Berkovitz (great work by Benjamin Vicuña) who allies himself with a prostitute, Divina Day (Daniela Ramirez) to investigate the supposed suicide of a Chilean bohemian.
In the midst of the searches, they will come across arms smuggling, still remnants of the Pinochet Dictatorship in Chile.
Also in the cast is Colombian actress Angie Cepeda, who shone years ago in PANTALEÓN Y LAS VISITADORAS, which was very successful at a Gramado Festival, and Lara Eyzaguirre (actress Goya Toledo).
I saw two of the four chapters. The narrative seemed very well done, creating a consistent suspense.
Chilean films have some difficulty getting here.
Therefore, BERKO already deserves to be saluted. But its merits warrant even greater value.
