Mostrando uma versatilidade rara, ozônio aqui navega na comédia com o mesmo talento dos dramas mais rasgados.
A jovem atriz de cinema Madeleine Verdier (Nadia Tereszkiewicz) é acusada de matar o Produtor Montferrand (Jean-Christophe Bouver), conhecido por se impor sexualmente às jovens atrizes. A melhor amiga e colega de quarto de Madeleine, a advogada Paulin Maleón (Rebecca Marder) se encarrega de defender a ré.
Do lado da acusação estão o Juiz Gustave Rabusset (Fabrice Luchini, como sempre extraordinário) e o Promotor Maurice Vrai (Michel Fay).
Aliás, o talento e a graça do filme de Ozon inicia pelos nomes dos personagens, cheios de trocadilhos com o que cada um representa em cena.
Não dá para deixar de citar a sempre luminosa Isabelle Huppert (Odette Chaumette, uma atriz veterana) e Andre Dussolier (Bonnard, um personagem chave da trama).
É claro que o filme de Ozon brinca muito com as tramas policiais, aquelas em que cada detalhe pode representar a condenação ou a absolvição do acusado. Mas vai muito além disso, criando uma farsa deliciosa sobre a Justiça, a briga das mulheres pela igualdade e o conceito de verdade ou mentira.
Tudo é feito com um humor sutil mas profundamente engraçado, especialmente para quem curte enredos policiais.
Acho que daqui para a frente, toda história policial vai nos lembrar, em algum momento, da comédia MON CRIME, de Ozon. Divertida, criativa e brilhante.

I think that from now on, every police story will remind us, at some point, of Ozon’s comedy MON CRIME. Fun, creative and bright.
