Um comando SEAL leva uma profiler da CIA até uma instalação militar tipo Abu Grabi, em uma ilha próxima dos EUA. Ali são torturados e interrogados prisioneiros do ISIS. Um deles, Amin Mansur (Waleed Elgadi) pode estar envolvido em um atentado a bomba que está por se realizar em Washington D.C.
O objetivo da missão do grupo chefiado pela analista Zoe Anderson (Ashley Green) e pelo SEAL Jake Harris (Scott Adkins) é levar o prisioneiro para os EUA. Mas o chefe da prisão, Jack Yorke (Ryan Philippe) se opõe frontalmente.
Quando eles estão nessa queda de braço, um comando do ISIS ataca a prisão. Achei incrível que os terroristas chegam em um suposto caminhão de mantimentos, do qual saem centenas de soldados mercenários, um exército que não acaba mais.
Sitiados na ilha, os “mocinhos” têm que lutar por suas vidas e proteger o alvo que de nada servirá se for morto.
O filme de ação (com centenas de tiroteios de todos os tipos e explosões a granel, é assumidamente B. Nem tem pretensões a ser mais que duas horas de entretenimento.
Mesmo assim, podia explorar coisas do roteiro que passam em branco.
Faltou “penso” por trás de ONE SHOT.

A SEAL commando takes a CIA profiler to an Abu Grabi-style military installation on an island near the US. There, ISIS prisoners are tortured and interrogated. One of them, Amin Mansur (Waleed Elgadi) may be involved in an upcoming bombing in Washington D.C.
The objective of the mission of the group led by CIA analyst Zoe Anderson (Ashley Green) and SEAL Jake Harris (Scott Adkins) is to take the prisoner to the USA. But the head of the prison, Jack Yorke (Ryan Philippe) is frontally opposed.
When they are in this arm wrestling match, an ISIS commando attacks the prison. I found it incredible that the terrorists arrive in an alleged supply truck, from which hundreds of mercenary soldiers leave, an army that never ends.
Besieged on the island, the “good guys” have to fight for their lives and protect the target that will be useless if killed.
The action movie (with hundreds of shootings of all kinds and massive explosions), is unapologetically B. It doesn’t even claim to be more than two hours of entertainment.
Even so, they could explore things in the script that go unnoticed.
A more sophisticated approach was missing in ONE SHOT.
