De forma interessante, o filme – baseado no livro LA PENA MAXIMA, de Santiago Roncagliolo – traz sua ação para o período da Copa do Mundo de 1978, lincando os jogos do Peru com os fatos que o funcionário Público interpretado por Augustin Mazzarelli investiga.
A produção é muito limitada, o que fica evidente em cada cena.
Mas como versa sobre fatos de importância inequívoca, e vem de uma cinematografia quase ausente, vale a pena dar uma olhada.
