Uma das coisas que mais gosto na série do SHOWTIME, BILLIONS é que os roteiros adoram nos indicar um caminho e dar uma reviravolta em outro sentido completamente inesperado.
O início da sitiem temporada indicava que Axe (Damien Lewis) iria aceitar o convite dos amigos Wendy (Maggie Siff), Wags (David Costabile) e Taylor (Asia Kate Delon) para voltar aos EUA e enfrentar Chuck (Paul Giamatti) e Prince (Corey Stall).
Pelo menos por enquanto – vi dois capítulos – não vai ser tão fácil.
BILLIONS segue desafiador, inteligente e fascinante.
E ainda trouxe mais uma cena no lendário restaurante PETER LUGER, do Brooklyn. Só isso já valeu muito a pena.

The beginning of the second season indicated that Ax (Damien Lewis) would accept the invitation of friends Wendy (Maggie Siff), Wags (David Costabile) and Taylor (Asia Kate Dilon) to return to the USA and face Chuck (Paul Giamatti) and Prince ( Corey Stall).
At least for now – I’ve seen two chapters – it won’t be that easy.
BILLIONS remains challenging, intelligent and fascinating.
And it brought yet another scene at Brooklyn’s legendary PETER LUGER restaurant. That alone was worth it.
