Fui ver a série ONE PIECE, que tanto sucesso está fazendo na NETFLIX. Segundo as matérias, no seu dia de estreia, ONE PIECE teve 18,5 milhões de espectadores.
Essa primeira temporada (certamente haverá outras), tem oito episódios, todos disponíveis.
O Mangá de autoria do Japonês Eichirô Oda (ricamente adaptado às telas) foca um mundo paralelo, onde a execução de um famoso pirata pelo Governo mundial, onde ele anuncia que o fabuloso tesouro resultante de sua vida de crimes está guardado à espera que algum outro pirata o descubra, faz com que todo mundo queira ser pirata.
Entre esses está o jovem Monkey D. Luffy (o ator mexicano Yaky Godoy), um pós adolescente que ficou com um corpo elástico depois de comer uma fruta mágica. Está aberto o campo para todo tipo de loucuras narrativas e bizarrices divertidas. Há homens-peixe, piratas indestrutíveis, navios fantásticos e o que mais a imaginação de Oda pudesse criar.
Luffy monta uma turma muito louca: Nami (Emily Rudd), uma ladra que se nega a admitir pirata, Roronoa Zero (Mackenyu), um samurai que luta com três espadas, Usopp (Jacob Romero, um construtor de barcos piratas e Sanji (Taz Skylar), um chef de cozinha mestre em lutas marciais.
O bando do pirata do chapéu de palha segue pelos mares atrás do lendário tesouro ONE PIECE.
A série é muito divertida. Há dezenas de citações de filmes (X-MEN, STAR WARS, KILL BILL), além dos clássicos de piratas. O tema musical, por exemplo, evoca a fanfarra do Capitão Jack Sparrow. O pessoal da produção (excelente) deve te se divertido. Cada episódio;odio, por exemplo, traz uma logotipia do nome da série ONE PIECE com um desenho diferente, alusivo ao conteúdo do episódio.
Há momentos de exagero e outros de certo tédio, mas no geral, não falta diversão.
Como o próprio Luffy se intitula, a certa altura, ele é um tipo de pirata diferente.

The series is really fun. There are dozens of movie quotes (X-MEN, STAR WARS, KILL BILL), plus pirate classics. The musical theme, for example, evokes the fanfare of Captain Jack Sparrow. The production staff (excellent) must have fun. Each episode, for example, brings a logo of the name of the ONE PIECE series with a different design, alluding to the content of the episode.
There are moments of exaggeration and others of certain boredom, but overall, there’s no lack of fun.
As Luffy calls himself, at one point, he is a different kind of pirate.
