A história da fotógrafa da Revista Vogue inglesa, Elizabeth “Lee” Miller, ex-modelo que virou uma celebridade com suas fotos sobre a Segunda Guerra Mundial, é o tema de LEE, novo filme de Ellen Curas, que estreou no Festival de Toronto.
Kate Winslet vive a personagem central, em suas passagens pelos campos da II Guerra, inclusive a célebre foto na banheira de Adolf Hitler, tirada após a liberação de Paris pelos aliados e as primeiras fotos públicas dos campos de concentração de Dachau e Buchenwald.
O elenco do filme tem ainda Marion Cotillard, Alexander Skarsgard, Andrea Risenboroug, Noémie Merlant e Josh O’Connor.

The story of British Vogue Magazine photographer Elizabeth “Lee” Miller, a former model who became a celebrity with her photos of the Second World War, is the subject of LEE, a new film by Ellen Curas, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.
Kate Winslet plays the central character, in her passages through the camps of World War II, including the famous photo in Adolf Hitler’s bathtub, taken after the liberation of Paris by the allies and the first public photos of the Dachau and Buchenwald concentration camps.
The film’s cast also includes Marion Cotillard, Alexander Skarsgard, Andrea Risenborough, Noémie Merlant and Josh O’Connor.
Director Curas comes from successful series, directing OZARK, THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY and INVENTING ANNA.
The film hits screens in 2023.
