Comecei a ver no app MHZ (especializado em séries e filmes europeus) a série PANDORA, um thriller político belga em dez capítulos.
Um Juíza se vê frente à investigação de um crime brutal: uma jovem ativista ambiental foi estuprada e o crime foi gravado em vídeo e fartamente divulgado em redes sociais.
Quanto mais a magistrada Claire Deval (a ótima Anne Coesens) se aprofunda no caso, mais ela vai chegando perto de um escândalo político sem precedentes que envolve até mesmo o pai dela, o veterano político Simon Deval (Johan Leysen).
A narrativa é muito bem feita e traz forte tensão, seja pelo crime terrível que lhe dá início seja pelas ramificações no alto poder.
Yann Blank vive o político de oposição Mark van Dick, que parece ter agenda própria.
Está bastante comum nas cinematografias européias esse tipo de trama policial que vai, aos poucos, entrando para o thriller político.
PANDORA parece ser (vi apenas um capítulo por enquanto) outro filho ilustre do gênero.
Vala a pena conferir.

The narrative is very well done and brings strong tension, whether due to the terrible crime that begins it or the ramifications on high power.
Yann Blank plays opposition politician Mark van Dick, who seems to have an agenda of his own.
This type of detective plot is quite common in European cinema, which gradually becomes a political thriller.
PANDORA seems to be (I’ve only seen one chapter so far) another illustrious child of the genre.
It’s worth checking out.
