Stephanne Monereau, um policial violento (Yvan Attal, roteirista e ator francês) leva a esposa e o filho para uma semana de férias. Quando ele quase atropela um javali, o carro estraga e ele precisa chamar um guincho. Vai de carona com a esposa e o filho até um posto de gasolina onde encontra o socorro mecânico. Retorna com o filho até o carro no guincho de serviço. Arrumado o carro vão ate o posto, mas não encontram mais a bela Valerie (Valentina Cervi).
O que teria acontecido com a esposa desaparecida?
Stephanne chama a polícia local e pede ajuda a seus colegas. Mas milhares de pessoas desaparecem sem deixar rastros, umas por vontade própria, outra por crimes de terceiros. Qual o caso de Valerie?
O filme é bem duro. Stephanne não está acostumado a pedir favores e resolve investigar por conta própria. Deixa o filho com a cunhada (Amelie Deutsch) e vai à luta atrás da esposa.
Já houve diversos filmes com temática bem semelhante, inclusive o angustiante SILÊNCIO NO LAGO (THE VANISHING), um excelente thriller – refilmagem de um título francês – com Jeff Bridges, Kiefer Sutherland e Sandra Bullock.

Stephanne Monereau, a violent police officer (Yvan Attal, French screenwriter and actor) takes his wife and son for a week’s vacation. When he almost runs over a wild boar, his car breaks down and he has to call a tow truck. He rides with his wife and son to a gas station where he finds mechanical assistance. He returns with his son to the car at the service tow truck. Once the car is packed, they go to the gas station, but they no longer find the beautiful Valerie (Valentina Cervi).
What would have happened to the missing wife?
Stephanne calls the local police and asks her colleagues for help. But thousands of people disappear without a trace, some of their own free will, others due to the crimes of others. What’s the case with Valerie?
The film is very harsh. Stephanne is not used to asking for favors and decides to investigate on her own. He leaves his son with his sister-in-law (Amelie Deutsch) and goes to fight after his wife.
There have been several films with a very similar theme, including the harrowing THE VANISHING, an excellent thriller – remake of a French title – with Jeff Bridges, Kiefer Sutherland and Sandra Bullock.
