Depois que fiz um post sobre o genial ator Peter Falk, fiquei com vontade de (re) ver alguns episódios do seriado COLUMBO, um extraordinário sucesso dos anos 70 e 80.
Ontem, deparei com o episódio IT’S ALL IN THE GAME, da Temporada de 1993 (único daquele ano). A atriz convidada foi Faye Dunaway, linda como a rica Lauren Staton, acusada de matar o gigolô Nick Franco (Armando Pucci).
O Detetive da LA, com a capa gabardine mais amassada da história e fumando charutos baratos dá mais um show.
Foi uma delícia ver dois grandes atores duelando na telinha. A única salvação para a bela Lauren é seduzir Columbo. As cenas entre os dois são deliciosas.
Muito bem também a atriz Claudia Christian, como Lisa Martin.
Nos créditos, vi que Peter Falk escreveu o roteiro desse episódio.
O cara era mesmo demais.
After I made a post about the brilliant actor Peter Falk, I wanted to (re)watch some episodes of the series COLUMBO, an extraordinary success from the 70s and 80s.
Yesterday, I came across the episode IT’S ALL IN THE GAME, from the 1993 Season (the only one from that year). The guest actress was Faye Dunaway, beautiful as the rich Lauren Staton, accused of killing gigolo Nick Franco (Armando Pucci).
The LA Detective, with the most wrinkled trench coat in history and smoking cheap cigars, puts on another show.
It was a delight to see two great actors dueling on the small screen. The only salvation for the beautiful Lauren is to seduce Columbo. The scenes between the two are delightful.
Also very good is the actress Claudia Christian, as Lisa Martin.
In the credits, I saw that Peter Falk also wrote the script for this episode.
The guy was really awesome.
