THE CONTINENTAL: FROM THE WORLD OF JOHN WICK: Série Tem Estilo dos Filmes Mas Ainda Não Engrenou

Os filmes da franquia John Wick (já são quatro) tem dois atrativos principais: uma loucura de ritmo onde o personagem de Keanu reeves mata centenas de assassinos que estão atrás dele e a mítica do Hotel Continental, um prédio antigo em Nova Iorque, onde os assassinos se hospedam, entregando uma moeda especial na recepção.

O Hotel Continental nos filmes, tem dois personagens principais: Ian McShane, como o Gerente Winston e Lance Reddick, como o enigmático Charon.

A Paramount fez uma mini série (vai ter apenas três episódios) mostrando o Hotel Continental, quando Winston ((Collin Woodell) e Charon (Ayomide Adegun) eram bem jovens e a m’tica do hotel estava recém se estabelecendo.

O elenco ainda tem Mel Gibson, Mishel Prada, Nhung Kate, Jessica Allain, Katie McGrath e Adam Shapiro.

O primeiro episódio tem os tiroteios dos filmes, mas a mística do hotel ainda está por se estabelecer.

Ultra bem produzida, a série consegue pegar o espectador, mas ainda tem caminho a percorrer para chegar ao charme dos filmes.

Ultra well produced, the series manages to catch the viewer, but it still has a way to go to reach the charm of the films.
