Morreu ontem, aos 90 anos, o ator escocês David McCallum.

McCallum se tornou célebre nos anos 60, quando interpretou o agente secreto soviético Illya Kuryakin na série de enorme sucesso, O AGENTE DA U.N.C.L.E., ao lado de Robert Vaughn (Napoleon Solo). Foram quatro temporadas e mais de 70 episódios entre 1964 e 1968. É uma das séries que marcou minha infância.

David fez 131 filmes e séries.

Entre seus papéis mais famosos, pós Illya, está o médico legista Donald Mallard (NCIS).

Entre os filmes clássicos onde atuou, estão THE GREAT ESCAPE e THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD, onde fez o papel de Judas.

Scottish actor David McCallum died yesterday, aged 90.

McCallum became famous in the 1960s when he played Soviet secret agent Illya Kuryakin in the hugely successful series, THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E., alongside Robert Vaughn (Napoleon Solo). There were four seasons and more than 70 episodes between 1964 and 1968. It is one of the series that marked my childhood.
