NOITE SANGRENTA: Thriller com Maggie Q Não Supera o Óbvio

Vi no NOW, o filme NOITE SANGRENTA, dirigido por Neil LaBute.

LaBute nasceu em Michigan e tem 61 anos. Dirigiu alguns filmes de prestígio, como NA COMPANHIA DOS HOMENS.

É meio surpreendente ele dirigir um filme de ação sangrento na linha de vingança de mulheres contra vilões machistas criminosos.

Eu gosto muito da atriz Maggie Q. desde aquele DURO DE MATAR em que ela era uma das vilãs do ataque cibernético, até a agente do FBI em DESIGNATED SURVIVOR.

Aqui ela vive a ex-mariner Tess, alcoólatra e com PTSD.

Quando ela e as irmãs (mais umas amigas meio louquinhas) vão para a retirada cabana dos pais, para uma despedida de solteiro, são atacadas por um bando de caipiras assassinos.

O filme é bem ruinzinho.

Outra vez, digo que foi surpreendente ver o nome de Neil LaBute dirigindo.

I saw the film FEAR THE NIGHT, directed by Neil LaBute, at NOW.

LaBute was born in Michigan and is 61 years old. He has directed some prestigious films, such as IN THE COMPANY OF MEN.

It’s kind of surprising that he directs a bloody action film along the lines of revenge of women against sexist criminal villains.

I really like the actress Maggie Q. from that DIE HARD where she was one of the villains in the cyber attack, to the FBI agent in DESIGNATED SURVIVOR.

Here she plays ex-marine Tess, an alcoholic and with PTSD.

When she and her sisters (plus some crazy friends) go to their parents’ secluded cabin for a bachelor party, they are attacked by a bunch of murderous hillbillies.

The film is pretty bad.

Again, I say it was surprising to see Neil LaBute’s name directing.
