O BRITBOX traz os três capítulos da mini série LIFE OF CRIME, de 2013. A atriz britânica Hayley Atwell – hoje em alta depois dos filmes do CAPITÃO AMÉRICA e do último MISSÃO IMPOSSÍVEL – ainda muito jovem viveu a policial Denise Woods que fica obcecada por prender um serial killer.
A trama tem um formato bem interessante. Acompanha a busca de Woods pelo criminoso em três fases da vida dela: quando ela era uma rookie recém chegada à Polícia, quando ela já tinha sido promovida a Sargento e depois que luta para reconquistar sua posição na Delegacia.
Eu gosto de Atwell. Acho que ela consegue colocar em seus trabalhos uma faceta autoral típica das atrizes inglesas. Sabe mergulhar no personagem, dando credibilidade aos diálogos que o roteiro lhe confia.
Também gostei que a mini série não enrola a narrativa para estender sua duração. São três capítulos e a história chega ao final.
Claro que os filmes e séries policiais vindos da Inglaterra tem sua própria linguagem. Me agradam bastante.

O BRITBOX brings the three chapters of the British mini series LIFE OF CRIME, from 2013. The British actress Hayley Atwell – famous for the two films from CAPTAIN AMERICA and the last MISSION IMPOSSIBLE – is still very young alive to the police officer Denise Woods who is determined to catch um serial killer.
The plot has a very interesting format. It accompanies the search for Woods as a criminal in three phases of her life: when she was a rookie, recently transferred to the Police, when she had already been promoted to Sergeant and nowadays when she is fighting to regain her position in the Delegacy.
I like Atwell. I think she manages to place in her works an authorial facet typical of English actresses. She knows how to merge into a character, giving credibility to the dialogues that others trust her with.
I also liked that this mini series does not involve narrative to extend its duration. Only three chapters and the final story.
Of course, the police films and series coming from England have their own language. I like them quite a bit.
LIFE OF CRIME is an excellent mini series.
