A série original da NETFLIX, LUPIN me divertiu muito desde o início. Achei muito criativo o ponto de partida, onde um jovem negro se apaixona pelas aventuras do ladrão Arsene Lupin criação imortal do escritor Maurice Leblanc. Assane Diop (um ótimo trabalho de Omar Sy) vê na vida de seu ídolo, a chance de ascender na vida, em uma sociedade que o discrimina por todos os fatores.
O tema – bem pesado – é tratado com surpreendente e divertida leveza pela série que em muitos momentos abandona a aventura para assumir um tom de comédia. Acho impagáveis as cenas em que Diop é reconhecido por populares e sempre se sai com desculpas como “minha semelhança com o ladrão me atrapalha muito na vida”.
Diop tem uma ex-esposa e um filho a quem, por razões óbvias tem dificuldade em conviver e encontrar um modo de vida. Ludivine Sagnier e Ethan Simon vivem os papéis dos familiares.
LUPIN tem uma batida de Robin Hood. O protagonista vira ídolo popular, de pessoas que não suportam mais a pobreza, o desemprego, os impostos, a inércia governamental e outras mazelas da vida atual. Os próprios policiais que caçam Diop sem trégua têm uma contida admiração por seus malfeitos.
Essa atualização da história, muito bem feita, tem como cenário uma Paris deslumbrantemente linda. Todo episódio tem cenas de Paris de deixar o espectador sem fôlego, pela beleza das imagens.
LUPIN 3 retoma o alto nível das temporadas anteriores. Talvez seja mesmo a mais divertida de todas.
Vale muito a pena ver.
The NETFLIX original series LUPIN entertained me a lot from the beginning. I found the starting point very creative, where a young black man falls in love with the adventures of the thief Arsène Lupin, the immortal creation of writer Maurice Leblanc. Assane Diop (a great work by Omar Sy) sees in his idol’s life the chance to move up in life, in a society that discriminates against him on all counts.
The theme – quite heavy – is treated with surprising and fun lightness by the series, which in many moments abandons the adventure to take on a comedy tone. I find the scenes in which Diop is recognized by people and always gets away with excuses like “my resemblance to the thief really hinders my life” to be priceless.
Diop has an ex-wife and a son who, for obvious reasons, he has difficulty getting along with and finding a way of life. Ludivine Sagnier and Ethan Simon play the roles of family members.
LUPIN has a Robin Hood beat. The protagonist becomes a popular idol, for people who can no longer bear poverty, unemployment, taxes, government inertia and other ills of today’s life. Even the police officers who hunt Diop relentlessly have a restrained admiration for his misdeeds.
This very well done update of the story takes place in a stunningly beautiful Paris. Every episode has scenes of Paris that leave the viewer breathless, due to the beauty of the images.
LUPIN 3 resumes the high level of previous seasons. Maybe it’s even the most fun of all.
