Quando BOSCH LEGACY encerrou a primeira temporada, a filha do protagonista, a policial Maddie Bosch (Madison Lintz) foi sequestrada pelo estuprador que assombrava um bairro latino de L.A. Natural que os primeiros capítulos da temporada dois se concentrem na busca desesperada do Pai (Titus Welliver) – e toda Polícia de LA – pela colega em perigo.
Na minha opinião, foram ótimos episódios. O grau de tensão e suspense foi bem alto. É fácil se colocar no lugar do pai da vítima, sabendo que está em uma corrida contra o tempo. Há várias cenas da solidariedade dos amigos com o ex-policial Bosch. Me chamou particularmente a atenção aquela cena em que o encarregado do necrotério ligara para ele dizendo que há um corpo de uma jovem não identificada morta. Foi uma baita cena. Gol para a série.
Mimi Rogers, Stephen A, Chang (um hacker para lá de simpático) e Jamie Hector seguem seus papéis dos acólitos mais próximos de Bosch.
Sempre achei o policial criado por Michael Connelly um excepcional; personagem. É um típico detetive de LA, com um pé no submundo, disposto a quebrar regras pelo que acredita, mas com um senso de dever cada vez mais raro. Tomara que fique muito tempo nas telas.
Essa segunda temporada também prestou uma homenagem a dois atores da série original que morreram recentemente: Annie Wersching e Lance Reddick. Fazem muita falta.
Vamos ver para onde vai a série. Depois do susto com Maddie, acho que Bosch vem com tudo.
When BOSCH LEGACY ended the first season, the protagonist’s daughter, police officer Maddie Bosch (Madison Lintz) was kidnapped by the rapist who haunted a Latin neighborhood in L.A. It’s natural that the first chapters of season two focus on the desperate search for her Father (Titus Welliver ) – and the entire LAPD – for a colleague in danger.
In my opinion, they were great episodes. The degree of tension and suspense was very high. It’s easy to put yourself in the shoes of the victim’s father, knowing that he is in a race against time. There are several scenes of the friends’ solidarity with the former police officer Bosch. The scene in which the person in charge of the morgue called him to say that there is a dead body of an unidentified young woman particularly caught my attention. It was a great scene. Goal for the series.
Mimi Rogers, Stephen A, Chang (a very friendly hacker) and Jamie Hector continue their roles as Bosch’s closest acolytes.
I always thought the police officer created by Michael Connelly was exceptional; character. He’s a typical LA detective, with one foot in the underworld, willing to break rules for what he believes in, but with an increasingly rare sense of duty. I hope it stays on screen for a long time.
This second season also paid tribute to two actors from the original series who recently died: Annie Wersching and Lance Reddick. They are greatly missed.
Let’s see where the series goes. After the scare with Maddie, I think Bosch is coming with everything.
