CHEMISTRY OF DEATH: Série Germano-Britânica Tem Enredo Forte e Locações Impressionantes

Está em cartaz no Amazon Prime Video, a série co-produzida por Alemanha e Inglaterra, CHEMISTRY OF DEATH, com oito capítulos.

Narra a história de um competente legista forense que abandona a carreira e vai morar na pequena localidade de Manham, em Norfolk, Inglaterra. Lá pretende pacificar os fantasmas de um acidente trágico que vitimou sua esposa e filha.

Mas um brutal assassinato de uma mulher faz com que a Polícia requisite seu trabalho, o que novamente o coloca em cheque com seus traumas do passado.

Além de uma narrativa muito bem feita, achei um atrativo forte da série as locações de Norfolk, um interior muito lindo da Inglaterra, cheio de paisagens visualmente deslumbrantes, muito bem exploradas pelas câmeras.

Harry Treadway vive o atormentado David Hunter. Jeanne Gorsaud, Elen Francis, Rosie Whimster e Amy Manson ocupam os papeis principais.

Todo mundo na cidade parece ocultar algum segredo, o que vai vindo à tona com as investigações do crime.

Achei a duração longa demais (cada dois episódios contém um caso investigado por Hunter).

Mas sem qualquer dúvida, CHEMISTRY OF DEATH fica bem acima da média no atual cenário de séries policiais.

It tells the story of a competent forensic examiner who abandons his career and goes to live in the small town of Manham, in Norfolk, England. There he intends to pacify the ghosts of a tragic accident that killed his wife and daughter.

But a brutal murder of a woman causes the Police to requisition his work, which once again puts him in check with his past traumas.

In addition to a very well done narrative, I found the series’ strong attraction to be the locations in Norfolk, a very beautiful countryside in England, full of visually stunning landscapes, very well explored by the cameras.

Harry Treadway plays the tormented David Hunter. Jeanne Gorsaud, Elen Francis, Rosie Whimster and Amy Manson play the other lead roles.

Everyone in the city seems to be hiding some secret, which comes to light as the crime is investigated.

I found it too long (each two episodes contain a case investigated by Hunter).

But without any doubt, CHEMISTRY OF DEATH is well above average in the current scenario of thriller series.
