Elogiar Helen Mirren é redundante. O Oscar que ela já ganhou por seu incrível retrato da rainha Elizabeth Segunda já foi algo inesquecível. Aqui ela dá outra mostra de seu enorme talento fazendo uma das mulheres mais marcantes da história.
O filme propositadamente focou apenas um período da longa carreira de Golda Meir. Embora tenha sido rodado no ano passado, ganhou uma atualidade inesperada pela eclosão de nova guerra na Faixa de Gaza.
O elenco ainda tem um ótimo Rami Heuberger (Moshe Dayan) e Liev Schreiber, como Henry Kissinger.
Fiquei muito impactado e emocionado com o filme.

The film purposefully focused on just one period of Golda Meir’s long career. Although it was filmed last year, it gained an unexpected relevance due to the outbreak of a new war in the Gaza Strip.
The cast also has a great Rami Heuberger (Moshe Dayan) and Liev Schreiber, as Henry Kissinger.
I was very impacted and moved by the film.
I thought it brought a beautiful message of peace.
