Saiu esta semana o primeiro teaser do filme KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, dirigido por Wess Ball e prometido para chegar às telas de todo mundo em 24 de maio de 2024.
O trailer é impressionante. O Planeta dos Macacos segue tendo seu irresistível charme, mais de 55 anos depois que Taylor (Charlton Heston) e sua namorada chegaram naquela praia deserta onde está enterrada a estátua da Liberdade, naquele que provavelmente segue sendo a mais impactante cena final de um filme em todos os tempos.
Claro que os extraordinários avanços da maquiagem e dos efeitos especiais digitais, deixa sem limites a imaginação dos roteiristas para contar como ficou a Terra dominada pelos macacos.
O que mais me chamou a atenção é que as matérias sobre o filme falam em “rebootquel”, que seira uma espécie de refilmagem mas que dá sequência à história anterior no futuro dos personagens.
O certo é que já ficamos loucos para ver o filme. Esse é exatamente o papel de um ótimo trailer.

The trailer is impressive. Planet of the Apes continues to have its irresistible charm, more than 55 years after Taylor (Charlton Heston) and his girlfriend arrived on that deserted beach where the Statue of Liberty is buried, in what probably remains the most impactful final scene of a film in history. Everytime.
Of course, the extraordinary advances in makeup and digital special effects leave the screenwriters’ imagination without limits to tell how the Earth became dominated by monkeys.
What caught my attention the most is that the articles about the film talk about a “rebootquel”, which is a kind of remake but which continues the previous story in the characters’ future.
The truth is that we are already dying to see the film. That’s exactly the role of a great trailer.
