Uma escritora francesa que mora na Alemanha resolve conhecer um bordel chamado LA MAISON. Fica tão impressionada que resolve se empregar na casa para fazer uma pesquisa para seu próximo livro.
Isso causa brigas e desentendimentos intermináveis com sua irmã (com quem mora) e com o namorado (um francês casado que vai a Alemanha seguidamente).
A protagonista Emma é vivida pela atriz e cineasta francesa Ana Girardot , filha do ator Hyppolite Girardot e da atriz isabel Otero. Linda, Ana conduz o filme sem pudor. Aliás a câmera não se furta a inúmeras cenas no limite do explícito.
O elenco tem Aure Atika, Rossy de Palma e Nikita Belucci.
Emma vai contar em seu livro, os sonhos e aspirações das meninas que trabalham na casa, mas também a violência a que se submetem para ganhar a vida.
O drama de Emma gerou uma narrativa bem interessante, que vai muito além do usual voyeurismo dos filmes similares. O foco da roteirista (autobiográfico) e da cineasta é trazer uma história muito mais dramática (quase trágica) que glamurizada.
LA MAISON é um filme que se vê com atenção até o fim.

A French writer who lives in Germany decides to visit a brothel called LA MAISON. She is so impressed that she decides to take a job at the house to do research for her next book.
This causes endless fights and disagreements with her sister (with whom she lives) and her boyfriend (a married Frenchman who goes to Germany frequently).
The protagonist Emma is played by French actress and filmmaker Ana Girardot, daughter of actor Hyppolite Girardot and actress Isabel Otero. Beautiful, Ana leads the film without shame. In fact, the camera does not shy away from numerous scenes that border on explicit.
