No próximo dia 05 de dezembro fará 20 anos que o filme LOVE ACTUALLY, de Richard Curtis foi lançado nos cinemas. Certamente, se tornou um dos filmes favoritos especialmente para a época de festas natalinas, já que várias tramas do enredo têm relação direta com o Natal.
Um elenco incrível (Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightley, Rowan Atkinson, Colin Firth, Rodrigo Santoro, Laura Linney, Liam Neeson, Bill Nighy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Andrew Lincoln e Martin Freeman) trouxe às telas diversas histórias de amor e paixão entrelaçadas em um roteiro perfeito.
Acho que o acerto entre as tramas – que vão se entrelaçando aos poucos de maneira incrivelmente harmônica – é um dos motivos do filme ser tão divertido e emocionante. Claro que a trilha sonora soberba ajuda muito, especialmente em uma comédia romântica.
Já vi LOVE ACTUALLY dezenas de vezes e tenho dificuldade em escolher minha cena favorita.
Mas acho que aquela cena em que o personagem de Andrew Lincoln apresenta cartazes declarando seu amor pela personagem de Keira Knightley é realmente um must romântico que marcou época.
Em uma época tão repleta de guerras, violência e notícias ruins, rever LOVE ACTUALLY, vinte anos depois, certamente será um bálsamo para o seu dia.
É impossível não sair do filme dançando feliz como o Primeiro Ministro vivido por Hugh Grant. Aliás, em outra cena memorável do filme.
Next December 5th it will be 20 years since the film LOVE ACTUALLY, by Richard Curtis, was released in cinemas. It has certainly become one of the favorite films especially during the Christmas holiday season, as several of the plot’s plots are directly related to Christmas.
An incredible cast (Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightley, Rowan Atkinson, Colin Firth, Rodrigo Santoro, Laura Linney, Liam Neeson, Bill Nighy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Andrew Lincoln and Martin Freeman) brought to the screen several intertwined stories of love and passion in a perfect script.
I think the harmony between the plots – which gradually intertwine in an incredibly harmonious way – is one of the reasons the film is so fun and exciting. Of course, the superb soundtrack helps a lot, especially in a romantic comedy.
I’ve seen LOVE ACTUALLY dozens of times and I have a hard time choosing my favorite scene.
But I think that scene in which Andrew Lincoln’s character presents posters declaring his love for Keira Knightley’s character is truly an epoch-making romantic must.
In a time so full of wars, violence and bad news, reviewing LOVE ACTUALLY, twenty years later, will certainly be a balm for your day.
It’s impossible not to leave the film being happy as the Prime Minister played by Hugh Grant dancing in the stairs. In fact, in another memorable scene in the film.
