Entrou em cartaz no NOW, o terceiro e último filme da franquia O PROTETOR. Denzel Washington (69 anos em plena forma) volta a viver o agente da CIA aposentado, Robert McCall, um matador que se dedica a proteger fracos e oprimidos.
Desta vez, ele vai parar em uma pequena cidade do sul da Itália, onde se encanta pela hospitalidade e pela simplicidade da vias dos habitantes locais. Mas, como era previsível, as forças da Máfia atacam as pessoas e comerciantes na ânsia de ampliar seus negócios ilícitos.
McCall, mais uma vez, é obrigado a deixar temporariamente a aposentadoria e ensinar aos vilões o caminho correto.
No elenco, Dakota Fanning, Gaia Scodellaro, Remo Girone e Eugenio Mastandrea estão no lado dos mocinhos. Como bandidos, Andrea Scarduzzio e Danielle Perrone.
Tudo é meio óbvio no filme. A gente já sabe como vai terminar.
Mas o entrosamento perfeito da dupla Antoine Fuqua e Denzel Washington não impede que se veja o filme com muito prazer até o final.
Depois de matar muitos mafiosos, Robert McCall volta à aposentadoria tomando seu chá na praça central do vilarejo.

The third and final film in THE EQUALIZER franchise was shown at NOW. Denzel Washington (69 years old and in top shape) returns to play retired CIA agent Robert McCall, a killer dedicated to protecting the weak and oppressed.
This time, he ends up in a small town in southern Italy, where he is enchanted by the hospitality and simplicity of the locals’ ways. But, as was predictable, Mafia forces attack people and traders in their eagerness to expand their illicit businesses.
McCall, once again, is forced to temporarily come out of retirement and teach the villains the correct path.
In the cast, Dakota Fanning, Gaia Scodellaro, Remo Girone and Eugenio Mastandrea are on the side of the good guys. As bad guys, Andrea Scarduzzio and Danielle Perrone.
Everything is kind of obvious in the film. We already know how it will end.
But the perfect relationship between the duo Antoine Fuqua and Denzel Washington does not prevent us from watching the film with great pleasure until the end.
After killing many mobsters, Robert McCall returns to retirement drinking tea in the village’s central square.
