O roteiro é baseado no best seller de mesmo título do escritor sueco M.T. Edvardsson’s, um excelente exemplo do sucesso das tramas do Nordic Noir.
Ver as ações da advogada e do ministro religioso e os questionamentos de cada um deles sobre o que têm pela frente faz da trama algo muito mais interessante. Os conflitos éticos deles são mostrados à medida em que flashbacks mostram o que aconteceu na noite fatal.
O roteiro é bem feito e consegue aprofundar os dilemas éticos de forma até surpreendente.
UMA FAMÍLIA QUASE PERFEITA é um ótimo drama familiar com sofisticados toques de filme policial e drama de tribunal. Tem a frieza típica do cinema sueco, mas é muito bem realizado.

Stella Sandell (Alessandra Karlsson Tyrefors) is a young Swedish teenager who had traumatic rape episodes in her past. The constant affection and care from her parents, Pastor Adam (Bjorn Bengtsson) and the lawyer Ulrika (Lo Kaupi) and her best friend Amina Besic (Melisa Ferhatovic) returned her to normality.
Having just turned 19, Stella will become involved with the abusive millionaire Christoffer Olsen (Christian Fandango Sundgren) with whom she begins a romance.
One day, Christian turns up dead and Stella is arrested as the main suspect.
Everything is very much within the standard of a common police plot.
At this point, the series takes a turn. How far would parents go to save their daughter?
The script is based on the best seller of the same title by Swedish writer M.T. Edvardsson‘s, an excellent example of the success of Nordic Noir plots.
Seeing the actions of the lawyer and the religious minister and the questions each of them have about what lies ahead makes the plot much more interesting. Their ethical conflicts are shown as flashbacks show what happened on the fatal night.
The script is well done and manages to delve into the ethical dilemmas in a surprising way.
AN ALMOST PERFECT FAMILY is a great family drama with sophisticated touches of crime film and courtroom drama. It has the typical coldness of Swedish cinema, but it is very well done.
