COPPER: Detetive do Oeste em Tramas Brutais e Interessantes

A série COPPER é uma produção da BBC América que tem 24 capítulos.

Conta a história de um grupo de detetives do melhor oeste que investiga crimes na melhor tradição dos filmes de investigadores modernos. Claro que os crimes tem toda violência do velho oeste.

O três mocinhos são o delegado Kevin Corcoran (Tom Weston Jones), o detetive Francis McGuire(Kevin Ryan) e o legista Matthew Freeman (Ato Essandoh). Eles vão enfrentar incríveis resistências dos poderosos e dos criminosos tentando impedir o andamento de sua investigações.

Eu encontrei COPPER no app da AMC da Amazon Prime. Deve ter em outros streamings já que data de 2012.

Achei a trama diferente e criativa. Como fã confesso de filmes de detetives, me pareceu bem legal a mistura do gênero com o western.

O primeiro caso é a investigação da morte e estupro de uma jovem menina que ganhava a vida se prostituindo. O caso chega às altas rodas, em um bordel chique da melhor zona de Nova Iorque, frequentado apenas por ricos e famosos.

Vou seguir vendo os casos de COPPER.

It tells the story of a group of Western detectives who investigate crimes in the best tradition of modern detective films. Of course, the crimes have all the violence of the old west.

The three good guys are Deputy Kevin Corcoran (Tom Weston Jones), Detective Francis McGuire (Kevin Ryan) and Coroner Matthew Freeman (Ato Essandoh). They will face incredible resistance from the powerful and criminals trying to impede the progress of their investigations.

I found COPPER on the AMC app on Amazon Prime. It must be available on other streams as it dates back to 2012.

I found the plot different and creative. As a self-confessed fan of detective films, the mix of the genre with the western seemed really cool to me.

The first case is the investigation of the death and rape of a young girl who earned a living as a prostitute. The case reaches high circles, in a chic brothel in the best area of New York, frequented only by the rich and famous.

I will continue seeing COPPER cases.

I think the beginning was very stimulating.
