Está em cartaz na NETFLIX, o thriller LOCKED IN, da cineasta libanesa Nour Wazzi.
A trama mostra o drama de um casal em que o marido é acometido de uma saúde tão frágil que a esposa e a mãe se tornam meras enfermeiras dele durante toda vida.
A coisa complica quando entra em cena o sedutor médico da família que não esconde uma forte atração pelas duas mulheres.
O elenco é bem interessante. A veterana atriz holandesa Famke Janssen vive Katherine, a mãe do semi entrevado Jamie (Finn Cole). A esposa Linda é interpretada pela atriz Rose Williams (SANDITION). O médico da família é doutor Lawrence feito pelo ator Alex Hassell. E ainda há uma enfermeira profissional chamada Mackenzie, vivida pela ótima Anna Friel, de THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE e MARCELLA.
A produção é ótima, se valendo muito bem do local onde fica a suntuosa (mas carente de reparos) casa da família.
Apenas achei que o roteiro contém muitas reviravoltas. Na ânsia de esconder o vilão, cria muitas idas e vindas na história.

The plot shows the drama of a couple in which the husband suffers from such fragile health that his wife and mother become his mere nurses throughout his life.
Things get complicated when the family’s seductive doctor enters the scene, who doesn’t hide his strong attraction to the two women.
The cast is very interesting. Veteran Dutch actress Famke Janssen plays Katherine, the mother of semi-obsessed Jamie (Finn Cole). His wife Linda is played by actress Rose Williams (SANDITION). The family doctor is Doctor Lawrence played by actor Alex Hassell. And there is also a professional nurse called Mackenzie, played by the great Anna Friel, from THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE and MARCELLA.
The production is very good, making great use of the location where the family’s sumptuous (but in need of repairs) house is located.
I just thought the script had a lot of twists and turns. In his desire to hide the villain, it creates many twists and turns in the story.
