Têm saído muitas notícias que a série SUITS é uma das campeãs de audiência na NETFLIX.
Fui rever o episódio piloto, que data de 2011. Segue sendo delicioso.
Um advogado hot shot de Manhattan, Harvey Spector (Gabriel Macht moo papel de sua vida), cobrado pela chefe de sua postura individualista termina recrutando como associado um jovem vigarista brilhante e de bom coração. Ele é Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams, igualmente em momento de alta inspiração). Os dois vão formar uma dupla imbatível que passa por todo tipo de perrengues e sempre encontra uma saída brilhante.
Os membros do escritório são incríveis. Donna Paulson (Sarah Rafferty) é a gestora de pessoas perfeita com cargo de secretária poderosa. Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle, a mulher do Príncipe) é a paralegal fora de série que ajuda todos a ficarem unidos. Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) é a Managing partner que conduz tudo (quase sempre) dentro das regras. E Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) é o sócio ambicioso que sonha em ter o lugar de Harvey.
As histórias são maravilhosamente bem escritas, alternando drama e humor nas medidas exatas.
E tudo se passa numa Nova Iorque que raramente foi tão bem exibida no cinema.
SUITS é daquelas raras produções em que tudo encaixou perfeitamente.
Foram 134 episódios ao longo de nove temporadas.
Marcou época e segue sendo ótimo de se (re) ver.

A hotshot Manhattan lawyer, Harvey Spector (Gabriel Macht in the role of a lifetime), charged by his boss for his individualistic stance, ends up recruiting a brilliant and good-hearted young con man as an associate. He is Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams, equally in a moment of high inspiration). The two will form an unbeatable duo that goes through all kinds of troubles and always finds a brilliant way out.
The office members are amazing. Donna Paulson (Sarah Rafferty) is the perfect people manager with the role of a powerful secretary. Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle, the Prince’s wife) is the outstanding paralegal who helps everyone stay together. Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) is the Managing partner who conducts everything (almost always) within the rules. And Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) is the ambitious partner who dreams of taking Harvey’s place.
The stories are wonderfully well written, alternating drama and humor in just the right amount of time.
And it all takes place in a New York that has rarely been shown so well in cinema.
SUITS is one of those rare productions where everything came together perfectly.
There were 134 episodes over nine seasons.
It marked an era and continues to be great to (re)watch.
