Ela realmente não teme expor suas ideias na tela, de forma crua e contundente.

The plot tells the life of a competent lawyer used to working with young teenagers who are victims of domestic and sexual violence.
Very successful, she and her husband adopted two oriental children, who are raised with lots of love.
The peace will be broken when Pierre (Olivier Rabourdin) is forced to bring Theo (Samuel Kircher), the teenage son from his first marriage, from Switzerland, in permanent crisis with his mother, school, drugs and life.
Anne (Léa Drucker, excellent) will become emotionally involved with her stepson, flirting with the danger of having a sexual adventure with him.
From then on, the successful lawyer’s life will be in turmoil.
The film is very well done and takes the viewer through the same emotions that Anne experiences.
Breillat has directed 20 films, all with adult themes and approaches far from conventional. Her name exploded internationally with the film ROMANCE, with explicit sex scenes, in 1999.
She really isn’t afraid to express her ideas on screen, in a raw and forceful way.
LAST SUMMER is a very well done drama.
