A NOITE QUE MUDOU O POP (THE GREATEST NIGHT IN POP, que o cineasta vietnamita Bao Nguyen dirigiu a partir do material de imagem e som inestimável sobre a gravação da canção WE ARE The World, em 25 de janeiro de 1985 é uma joia escondida.
O filme tem tudo o que se poderia desejar.
Há talento de sobra através da reunião dos grandes talentos da música pop por uma causa humanitária. Há egos em briga como a pequenez humana é perita em fazer.
Mas há grandes figuras que foram a luta para criar um dos maiores momentos da música em todos os tempos.
Emocionante.
Não pode deixar de ser visto.
Um frase de Diana Ross, citada no final, a meu ver, resume tudo. “Eu não queria que isso acabasse.” Definitivo.

The film has everything one could want.
There is plenty of talent through bringing together the great talents of pop music for a humanitarian cause. There are egos fighting, as human smallness is adept at doing.
But there are great figures who were fighting to create one of music’s greatest moments of all time.
Exciting.
It cannot be unseen.
A quote from Diana Ross, quoted at the end, in my opinion, sums it all up. “I didn’t want this to end.” Definitive.
