A década de 70 foi marcada pelos filmes desastre. Tudo iniciou com O DESTINO DO POSEIDON, de enorme sucesso. Alguns citam que o precursor foi AEROPORTO. Mas eu acho esse um filme mais elaborado e interessante. Pode ser um antecessor ilustre.
Elenco famoso, uma história envolvendo um desastre (natural de preferência) e situações de perigo que vão matando os personagens (especialmente os ruins de caráter), como moscas. Ficou clássico o cartaz de filmes com os quadradinhos com fotos de atores e atrizes que estrelavam o filme.
A Amazon Prime Video está exibindo o filme dinamarquês A ONDA, dirigido por Roar Uthaug.
É um legítimo sucessor dos filmes desastre dos anos 70.
Em uma belíssima região dos fiordes na Noruega, um cientista adverte a seus ex-colegas que vê sinais de uma perigosa avalanche na montanhas que poderá gerar um tsunami. Ninguém lhe dá ouvidos.
A metade final do filme é ocupada pela gigantesca onda, suas terríveis consequências e a luta do herói por salvar sua família.
O filme é bem feito e prende a atenção.

The 70s were marked by disaster films. It all started with THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE, which was hugely successful. Some cite that the precursor was AIRPORT. But I think this is a more elaborate and interesting film. It could be an illustrious predecessor.
Famous cast, a story involving a disaster (preferably natural) and dangerous situations that kill the characters (especially the bad ones), like flies. The movie poster with the little squares with photos of actors and actresses who starred in the film became classic.
Amazon Prime Video is showing the Danish film THE WAVE, directed by Roar Uthaug.
It is a legitimate successor to the disaster films of the 70s.

The film is well made and holds your attention.
It made me miss AIRPORT, THE TOWERING INFERNO and JUGGERNAUT, my three favorite disaster films. Ah, the 70s…
