A CBS americana estreou na noite do último Superbowl, a série TRACKER, um interessante exercício de aventura no interior dos EUA.
Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) é um moderno caçador de recompensas. Ele vive pelo interior dos EUA tentando encontrar pessoas perdidas, sobre as quais há uma recompensa para serem encontradas. Várias vezes durante a série, as autoridades se referem a ele como a “bounty hunter”. Ao que ele contesta: “prefiro um rewardist”.
A figura do lone wolf caçador de recompensas é um personagem clássico do gênero western. Quantos e quantos filmes foram feitos em cima destes personagens.
Shaw é uma releitura moderna do caçador de recompensas. Isso já é motivo para tornar interessante a trama. Impressiona os dados apresentados no show, sobre o número de pessoas que – por diversos motivos – some de sua vida normal e de seus familiares. São dívidas, acidentes, perdas de memórias, seitas religiosas, namoradas ou namorados, inúmeras razões.

Vi dois episódios. Gostei bastante. Até achei a história familiar de Shaw (o pai abusivo que o ensinou as coisas da floresta) menos interessante que as buscas em si.
Li agora que TRACKER já foi renovado para uma segunda temporada.

Shaw is a modern reimagining of the bounty hunter. This is already a reason to make the plot interesting. The data presented in the show is impressive, regarding the number of people who – for various reasons – disappear from their normal lives and those of their families. There are debts, accidents, loss of memories, religious sects, girlfriends or boyfriends, countless reasons.
A breeding ground for Colter Shaw,
I saw two episodes. I really liked it. I even found Shaw’s family history (the abusive father who taught him the things of the forest) less interesting than the searches themselves.
I read now that TRACKER has already been renewed for a second season.
