MASTERS OF THE AIR: Steven Spielberg (e Tom Hanks) Produzem Mais uma Série de Guerra Nota Dez

Agora, na Apple TV, chega MASTERS OF THE AIR, série de 9 capítulos com a produção de Mr. Spielberg e Tom hanks. Entre os diretores Cary Jogi Fukunaga. Só podia dar coisa boa.

Vi os dois primeiros capítulos. Impressionante é o mínimo que se pode dizer.

Um grupo de jovens pilotos americanos arriscam a vida em missões aéreas sobre a Alemanha nazista.

Dizer que a produção é impecável seri redundância. Mas que é, é.

O elenco tem Austin Butler (ELVIS), Callum Turner, Anthony Boyle e Matt Gavan. Todos ótimos.

A loucura da guerra e da perda de vidas em qualquer uma delas é um tema precioso para o cinema humanista de Spielberg.

MASTERS OF THE AIR volta a esse tema. A imbecilidade humana em gerar sofrimento e morte nas guerras.

Vou certamente voltar a MASTERS OF THE AIR. É entretenimento de altíssima qualidade.

The films produced by Steven Spielberg (in his Amblim) on the subject of War are often memorable. In the feature films, SAVYING PRIVATE RYAN and SCHINDLER’S LIST. On HBO, the series BAND OF BROTHERS and PACIFIC.

Now, on Apple TV, comes MASTERS OF THE AIR, a 9-chapter series produced by Mr. Spielberg and Tom Hanks. Among the directors Cary Jogi Fukunaga. It could only give good things.

I saw the first two chapters. Impressive is the least that can be said.

A group of young American pilots risk their lives on flying missions over Nazi Germany.

To say that the production is impeccable would be redundant. But it is, it is.

The cast includes Austin Butler (ELVIS), Callum Turner, Anthony Boyle and Matt Gavan. All great.

The madness of war and the loss of thousand of lives in any of them is a precious theme for Spielberg’s humanist cinema.

MASTERS OF THE AIR returns to this theme. Human imbecility in generating suffering and death in wars.

I will definitely return to MASTERS OF THE AIR. It’s top quality entertainment.

Mr. Spielberg has done it again.
