Gostei demais do filme. É um drama rasgado sobre Elli uma mulher madura (Inka Kallén, maravilhosa atriz finlandesa) que mora com o marido pastor Mikko (Aku Hivierni) em uma paradisíaca ilha no arquipélago Turku, numa localidade chamado Pargas, na Finlândia.
Olavi, um velho amigo do pastor (Andrei Alén) vai passar um tempo na casa deles, o que desperta inquietações existenciais e eróticas em Elli.
O roteiro do filme aproveita magnificamente as paisagens paradisíacas da ilha. São imagens belíssimas que se alternam com diálogos existenciais muito bem escritos.
O despudor das cenas de intimidade é outra nota alta do filme. Bonitas, bem encenadas e com uma voltagem erótica elevada.
Também achei excelentes os três atores centrais, principalmente Inka Kallén, que faz o papel de sua vida.
THE WAIT é um ótimo drama. Merece muito ser visto.

I really liked the film. It’s a rip-roaring drama about Elli, a mature woman (Inka Kallén, a wonderful Finnish actress) who lives with her pastor husband Mikko (Aku Hivierni) on a paradisiacal island in the Turku archipelago, in a place called Pargas, in Finland.
Olavi, an old friend of the pastor (Andrei Alén) will spend time at their house, which awakens existential and erotic concerns in Elli.
The film’s script makes magnificent use of the island’s paradisiacal landscapes. There are beautiful images that alternate with very well written dialogues.
The shamelessness of the intimate scenes is another high note of the film. Beautiful, well staged and with a high erotic voltage.
I also thought the three central actors were excellent, especially Inka Kallén, who plays the role of her life.
THE WAIT is a great drama. It really deserves to be seen.
