Assisti MADAME WEB, que a experiente diretora S.J.Clarkson rodou em 2023 para lançamento em 2024. Depois de constatar que todas as demolidoras críticas que o filme recebeu eram absolutamente procedentes, fiquei surpreso que a diretora já tenha 33 filmes e séries em seu currículo (inclusive capítulos de SUCCESSION e JESSICA JONES) . É incrível que ela (e o resto da equipe) não tenha percebido a incrível quantidade de erros do filme.
E olha que recursos não faltaram. Como sempre, a MARVEL investiu pesado no filme. Ao que se diz o orçamento passou de 80 milhões de dólares.
Dakota Johnson vive a motorista de ambulância Cassandra Web (sério?) que nasceu na selva amazônica em meio a aranhas muito especiais. Já adulta ela vai cruzar com o homem que matou sua mãe (o ótimo ator Tahar Rahim, aqui completamente perdido e caricato). Entre eles três adolescentes meio retardadas (a maior ambição delas é dançar como Britney Spears numa lanchonete). Elas são a ascendente Sidney Sweeney, Isabella Merced (personagem com o nome de Anya Corazon) e Celeste O’Connor. O elenco ainda tem Emma Roberts e Mike Scott. Incrível como eles parecem implorar por um roteiro melhor.
Depois de quase 120 minutos, a gente fica se perguntando o que exatamente terminamos de ver?
Um gigantesco desperdício de recursos, atrizes e efeitos especiais. Nada mais que isso.
Pelas cenas finais, alguém pretendia dar sequência ao filme. Duvido que façam.

I watched MADAME WEB, which experienced director S.J. Clarkson shot in 2023 for release in 2024. After realizing that all the devastating reviews the film received were absolutely right, I was surprised that the director already has 33 films and series to her credit (including chapters of SUCCESSION and JESSICA JONES) . It’s amazing that she (and the rest of the crew) didn’t notice the film’s incredible amount of mistakes.
And look, there was no shortage of resources. As always, MARVEL invested heavily in the film. The budget is said to have exceeded 80 million dollars.
Dakota Johnson plays ambulance driver Cassandra Web (really?) who was born in the Amazon jungle among very special spiders. As an adult, she will come across the man who killed her mother (the great actor Tahar Rahim, here completely lost and caricatured). Among them are three somewhat retarded teenagers (their greatest ambition is to dance like Britney Spears in a cafeteria). A gigantic waste of resources, actresses and special effects. Nothing more than this.
By the final scenes, someone intended to continue the film. I doubt they will.
Then it would be too much.
