Vi a segunda parte da nova versão (francesa) de OS TRÊS MOSQUETEIROS. O filme MILADY é dirigido por Martin Bourbolon, também responsável pelo primeiro filme D’ARTAGNAN.
A atriz francesa Eva Green rouba o filme. A Milady dela deixa para trás as anteriores Miladies das várias versões anteriores (uma ótima Faye Dunaway, por exemplo na versão de Richard Lester nos anos 70).
Permanentemente sedutora, gananciosa ao extremo, na hesitante em armar um truque para enganar seus interlocutores e exímia lutadora com a espada, a Milady de Eva Green, a certa altura do filme recebe de um dos protagonistas um frase tão ofensiva quanto elogiosa: “Você é o Diabo.”
Desde que surgiu no fascinante OS SONHADORES, de Bernardo Bertolucci, Eva Green tem encantado no cinema. A Verper Lynd dela em CASINO ROYALE, primeiro filme de Daniel Craig como 007, segue viva até hoje, mesmo depois de afundar nos canais de Veneza.
As histórias dos três mosqueteiros que eram quatro, criadas pela genialidade de Alexandre Dumas, seguem atuai como nunca. São, acima de qualquer dúvida, um dos expoentes do gênero de aventura.
“Um por todos e todos por um” segue o mantras de Dartagnan (François Civil), Athos (Vincent Cassell num de seus melhores trabalhos), Porthos (Pio Marmai) e Aramis (Romain Duris). O elenco ótimo ainda tem Louis Garrell (Luis XIII), Lina Khoudri (Constance) e Vicky Kreeps (Rainha).
O filme respeita a aventura. Há inúmeras cenas de ação, todas muito bem feitas.
Mas os melhores momentos do filme são quando a Milady está na tela.

I saw the second part of the new (French) version of THE THREE MUSKETEERS. The film MILADY is directed by Martin Bourbolon, also responsible for the first D’ARTAGNAN film.
French actress Eva Green steals the film. Her Milady leaves behind the previous Miladies from the various previous versions (a great Faye Dunaway, for example in Richard Lester‘s version in the 70s).
Permanently seductive, greedy to the extreme, hesitant to set up a trick to deceive her interlocutors and an excellent sword fighter, Eva Green’s Milady, at a certain point in the film receives from one of the protagonists a phrase that is as offensive as it is complimentary: “You are the devil.”
Since appearing in Bernardo Bertolucci‘s fascinating THE DREAMERS, Eva Green has enchanted cinema. Her Verper Lynd in CASINO ROYALE, Daniel Craig‘s first film as 007, is still alive today, even after sinking in the canals of Venice.
The stories of the three musketeers who were four, created by the genius of Alexandre Dumas, continue as ever. They are, beyond any doubt, one of the exponents of the adventure genre.
