Todos os dramas que ficaram para trás por ocasião da morte da moça ressurgem com toda força no primeiro aniversário do fato. Traições, ligações ilícitas, gravidez indesejada, assassinato, mentiras e intrigas, no melhor estilo de novela mexicana.
Mas tudo é feito de forma muito superficial. Para piorar ainda mais, o diretor Hurley deu um ar de ousadia erótica ao seu filme, sem que haja uma só cena de nudez dos atores/atrizes, Ou seja, além de tudo o filme é muito enganoso.
No meio disso tudo, ao lado de um time de meninos e meninas, Elizabeth Hurley parece mais perdida do que todos. Sua personagem, sempre vestindo decotes abissais, é quase patética.
STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL se inscreve como aqueles filmes que nunca deviam ter deixado a prancheta de projetos abandonados.

But everything is done very superficially. To make things even worse, director Hurley gave an air of erotic thriller to his film, without there being a single nude scene of the actors/actresses. In other words, on top of everything else, the film is very misleading.
In the midst of it all, alongside a team of boys and girls, Elizabeth Hurley seems more lost than everyone. Her character, always wearing abysmal necklines, is almost pathetic.
STRINCTLY CONFIDENTIAL is one of those films that should never have left the drawing board of abandoned projects.
